The NBA is back! Well, kinda. We have our first official scrimmages today, but the big question is, where is Zion? The league officially resumes on July 31st and the Pelicans superstar is nowhere to be found. He left the team on July 16th to tend to an “urgent family medical matter”, but since then, crickets. There has been absolutely no word on where Zion is or when he will be back. This is extremely unprecedented for an athlete of this magnitude, so the question still stands, where is Zion Williamson?

Pels Need Every Win We Can Get

We can’t afford to have Zion miss any games that count. Upon his return, he will be required to quarantine for a minimum of four days. Zion has been tested multiple times a day since his departure from the bubble and has consistently tested negative. I’m scratching my head at the fact that people are actually giving him the privacy he deserves, as I said before, it is uncommon for that to happen with a player of this magnitude. Whatever the family issue may be, let’s hope that everything turns out to be okay and we can see Zion back on the court in the near future. In the meantime, the Pels play at 6:00 pm against the Brooklyn Nets.
