Everyone is always asking for suggestions on good shows to watch. Having watched almost every show on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO, I feel like I have a pretty good grasp at what the top 5 TV shows of all time are. There are so many that I have seen, but when we’re talking about the best of the best, only a few come to mind. Hear me out!
Narcos is one of those shows where I was hesitant to watch it because it seemed like I could guess what would happen – drugs, murders, fugitives. Yes, those things were in the show, but the way they portrayed Pablo Escobar’s life and how he went about his decisions with the police and political characters is insane. Migos even made a song called Narcos. If you haven’t taken the time to watch this, start watching during this quarantine.
4. Rick and Morty
Not only is Rick and Morty extremely funny, but it is a show that really gets you thinking. With Rick’s scientific background and Morty’s tag along with experiences, the show creates a perfect mix of mind-blowing and laughter. I will admit it does seem a little stupid at times, but the uncensored language and sudden comebacks kill me. Get to watching and see what I mean, some episodes have a crazy twist on it and it’ll open your mind up to see new things.
3. The Office
If you know me, you obviously know why The Office is in my top 5. Many people do not find this show funny at all, and those people don’t have any sense of humor. The Office is built on dry humor, so many people don’t catch the jokes. I catch myself quoting The Office about 5 times a day! Not to mention I’ve seen the show over 30 times (No exaggeration).
2. Game Of Thrones
I was a little late to the party with Game Of Thrones because I didn’t have HBO at the time, but I am glad that I got into it. I put in HOURS my sophomore year of college watching this show. There is a lot to keep up with, but once you have everyone and their families down, it is quite honestly one of the best shows ever. There are certain episodes that made me be like WTF?!!? And others that I was happy that it happened. All in all, an almost perfect TV show. Only because of that damn Starbucks cup.
WARNING: Spoiler Alert & a lot of blood.
1. Breaking Bad
If I could have any TV show erased from my mind to watch it for the first time again, it would have to be Breaking Bad. Walter White is the GOAT. Going from teaching high school chemistry to cooking meth, you can tell this show is about to have some crazy scenes. All the ups and downs he and Jesse Pinkman go through keeps you on your toes. The only episode I had trouble staying together was the one about that dumbass fly. Other than that one, there’s no reason I wouldn’t have this at number 1 in my top 5 TV shows of all time. Go give it a watch on Netflix.
