September 13th, New Orleans, an overall juggernaut begins their reign. We were already a contender even if we made no additions after last year. We have multiple future Hall of Famers on our offense, a ball hungry and sack mastery defense. In the backfield we are back to being as strong as we should be. Alvin Kamara now healthy! It was recently reported that AK was playing on a torn meniscus. There have also been murmurs that Latavius Murray will play more of a part in the offense. When fed the rock, the dude ran like a man among children.
Jeff Ireland, we love you
Take it to the wide-outs. We all know “Can’t Guard Mike” with his 149 receptions having ass last year. Toss in Lil’ Jordan Humphrey, Tre’Quan Smith (who is poised to have a solid season), and the guy who made the connection that sparked a fire under our ass. Mr. Save A 3rd Quarter, Pro Bowler Deonte’ Harris. Then Mickey Loomis, Jeff Ireland, and Sean Peyton scoop up the thing we have needed for so long in New Orleans. A stud number two receiver in Emmanuel Sanders.
Tight Ends, we already know about Adam Truatman from my article earlier in the offseason. Yet what we should also be pumped for is Jared Cook. He is looking disgusting in the few days of pads we have had. This makes me even more stoked about this season. Did I forget to mention “I Do It All” Taysom Hill?! The man who put the rock in Deonte’ Harris’s hands in that 3rd quarter last year. I mean we have an answer for everything. We acknowledged a few of our flaws like addressing the line. Cesar Ruiz now at center and moving Eric McCoy over to guard. Then Ramczyk and Armstead at tackle. “Old Man” Brees should be given adequate time to get the ball to the stacked wide-outs.
Then when no one was expecting it, Jeff Ireland and Mickey Loomis dropped their nads on the league picking up Jameis Winston. Say what you will but he is reportedly already loved by the locker room. With this surgery, I really do believe he is our future. Again, you should know this by now.
The New Orleans D
Then big news with the dropping of Nigel Bradham after just picking him up last week. As reported by Saintswire, this must mean rookie Zack Baun is exceeding expectations. Then if Anzalone and Kiko Alonso can stay healthy (sign of the cross), Demario Davis will finally have some solid help. Now in camp Marcus Williams is being brought under re-acquired Malcom Jenkins’ wing. Jenkins also recently stated that he is working with some of the best conerbacks he has ever worked with.
We already know Marshon Lattimore is the truth. Janoris Jenkins was also constantly progressing, having signed with us towards the end of the season. Then top it off with a little Chaucey Gardner Johnson, ewh! Marcus Davenport seems to be having the right attitude but time will tell on him. He and Andrus Peat just need to focus on staying healthy. They are like fine china. Those fellas are glass. Peat already has a thumb inury for crying out loud and they have had practice for a week!
Y’all all of this and I haven’t even mentioned “Sack Magnet” Cam Jordan. I mean like I just went on and on about the New Orleans D and I am just mentioning one of the biggest studs at defensive end. Are y’all not just fucking stoked yet?! Who Dats we are just over two weeks from spanking TB12’s ass in The Dome. We won’t be there in person, even though after six years of waiting I get my season tickets. However, this is NOLA baby. We have voodoo. Our boys will feel our energy in our building and kick some Buccaneer ass! As always thank you for your time and WHO DAT!!!!
