LSU’s Updated Schedule: Tigers Vs Tigers Vs Tigers

LSU's Updated Schedule

LSU’s updated schedule was released yesterday along with the rest of the SEC.

“We’re headed down to the bayou state for a match up between the Tigers and the Tigers”, familiar words for those of you who use to play NCAA Football, the video game. That’s what the game would say when you played a match up between Auburn and LSU. For the people who do not remember that, then surely you have the drunk uncle who says, “I’ll bet you $20 the Tigers win the game”, when Auburn and LSU match up every year, knowing he’ll win the bet because both teams are named “the Tigers”.

Good news, you’ll get to hear from your drunk uncle twice this year because added to LSU’s schedule is a home game against the Missouri Tigers. Since joining the SEC in 2012, Missouri only played LSU once. That game was in 2016 and LSU won 42 -7. Derrius Guice, who was recently released by the Washington Football Team, rushed for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns in that game. The two teams only played one other time in their school’s history. That was in the 1978 Liberty Bowl. Missouri won the game 20-15.

Also added to LSU’s updated schedule is an away game against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Last year, LSU traveled to Nashville to play the Commodores. Joe Burrow threw for 398 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Tigers put up 66 points in a win.

Vandy and Missouri finished at the bottom of the SEC East last year.

LSU’s Updated Schedule is Too Easy! Arkansas Gets Screwed!

LSU gets cut some slack like most of the good teams in the SEC. Alabama, who was already scheduled to play Georgia, gets two weaklings added to their schedule, Missouri and Kentucky. Georgia gets Mississippi State and Arkansas added to their schedule.

Arkansas got screwed. The two toughest teams in the SEC East are added to their schedule, Florida and Georgia. Good Luck Felipe Franks! Big Beefy Ballpark Frank’s, who suffered a season ending injury last year, transferred from Florida to Arkansas. If he thinks he got sacked a lot playing at Florida, he’s in for a rude awakening.

The SEC’s covid restricted, ten game schedule will kick off in seven weeks. I’m ready for some football, are you?
