NASCAR was finally able to get back to racing today. We saw Kevin Harvick win The Real Heroes 400 after starting in 6th place. It felt just like old times, the cars were wrecking, the beer was flowing (from the living room), and the cut off jorts were dusted off. The race went rather smoothly other than the fact that everyone I bet on wrecked out. As expected, this race felt no different than any other race with or without fans. The biggest disappointment was when Jimmie Johnson wrecked out of the race after leading.

Before we even got through one lap, we saw Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wreck out of the race. After that we see Jimmie go out, followed by William Byron. That pretty much sums up my day of betting, but Nick VonBrick picked Kevin Harvick to win the race at +700. The Big Easy Bets podcast has correctly handed out the winner of three of the five races this season. We can now look ahead to Wednesday for the Darlington 500k.
