Jon Rahm holds on to win the 2020 Memorial tournament at Muirfield Village golf Club. Coming in to Sunday with a four stroke lead, it was a roller coaster of a day once he hit the back nine. A bogey on ten and a double bogey on eleven resulted in an eight stroke lead being cut in half in a matter of minutes. We saw Rahm overcome and hold on for the win, but not without controversy.

With a victory today Jon Rahm now becomes the #1. ranked golfer in the world. This man is only 25 years old and has all of the potential in the world. He showed that on hole sixteen today when he chipped in from a near impossible location to take a four stroke lead and solidify his win. Although this spectacular shot is the topic of conversation for more reasons than one. It appeared that Rahm unintentionally made contact with his golf ball while preparing to take his swing.

Either way if a penalty is added to Rahm’s score, he is still the champion. A two stroke penalty will have him at -9 verus -11. More importantly, Rahm cashes in at +1750 to win for the Big Easy Bets Podcast. Golf is back in full swing, Tiger is back (Sort of), and we have majors on the horizon.
